Remember, please, that it is the personal unconscious that speaks to us through our dreams, and its language is symbolic, not literal. In no way do I take your dream to mean that your pregnancy or your baby are at risk, so don't be anxious about that. Rather, I think your unconscious is telling you that wishing too much for a child of a particular gender sets you up for avoidable disappointment. If it would ease your mind, though, I would look into discovering the gender of the child prior to birth, so that if your hopes won't come to pass, you can accept that before the child is born and adjust yourself mentally and emotionally accordingly.

thank you so much for your reply. actually my doctor asked me to have an ultrasound anytime this month to get the accurate age of the fetus. coz i've been to her clinic last march 14, to hear the baby's heartbeat for the 1st time, but when we heard it, the doctor told me that it sounds like it's 2 wks younger than our computation. she gave me an estimation that i might give birth around the last week of September according to my last menstrual period's date. i'm gonna give you the updates soon as i find out the actual age of the baby and after few more months, hopefully i'd be able to know the gender. but anyways, whatever the gender is, i'll be more than happy just to know that the baby will be ok and healthy. thanks so much... :)
